RESERVATIONS
Wheelhouse is located at the corner of East Hart Avenue and Main Street in downtown Opp, Alabama. Wheelhouse offers a casual fine dining experience with food offerings of new and cutting-edge southern cuisine, designed and prepared by our award winning and celebrity Chef Jon Gibson and his culinary team.
Wheelhouse resides in a building dating back to the 1930’s and has a newly constructed open-air patio that offers an unobstructed view of Main street and faces the Historic Opp City Hall as well as amazing sunsets over the City of Opp.
Parking is available next to the restaurant and extra parking is available within close walking distance to the restaurant. Wheelhouse also has a customer pick up and drop off area in front of the restaurant.
Reservations are recommended, but not necessary. There are NO same day reservations. Wheelhouse offers the majority of its seating to walk up guests. Parties of 8 or more are requested to make reservations to avoid splitting up their party upon arrival.
Once you have made a reservation with us and you need to change the date or time, we will try and honor your request to the best of our ability. Please be aware that changing your reservation, we cannot guarantee prior requests for seating or time.
It is essential that we are notified of any specific dietary requirements or special requests (i.e. dietary issues, allergies, special access, highchairs, booster seats, etc…) prior to your visit to ensure that we can cater for you appropriately. If you have not informed us upon making your reservation, please contact the restaurant to discuss your requirements with a member of our team.
Wheelhouse will hold reservations tables for up to 15 minutes after reservation time and will keep tables open for 5 minutes for walk up guests. After making reservations we would respectfully ask that the entire party is present and ready to be seated at the time of your reservation. Should you arrive after your booking time, we may need to hold your party back to a later time to ensure the best possible level of service to all our guests.
Tables are allocated each day with reservations receiving priority seating. For our walk-up guests, we will do everything we can to allocate a table in your preferred area of the dining room (inside or outside), however we cannot always guarantee this.
Wheelhouse continued viability relies on reservations being honored by our guests and adequate notice being given of any changes or cancellations. We do understand that emergencies do happen and plans sometimes fall through. Please contact us of cancellation, so that your reservation and table can be made available to other guests.
